FAQ
Q: Can we “walk-in” for any services?
A: We welcome everyone who comes in for manicure and/or pedicure any time of the day. We offer brief eye treatments, chair massages, waxing, and many other services to accommodate all your needs. Even if you do not have a reservation, we will provide spa services (i.e., table massages, facials, etc.) as long as our technicians and therapists are available during that time.
Q: Can I choose a male or female therapist?
A: We have both male and female therapists. Either gender may be requested and are available depending on their work schedules. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Q: Does your facility have a sauna or steam room?
A: Currently, we do not have a sauna or steam room. However, we do have a fabulous and relaxing wet spa service available. More details are provided on our Service Menu.
Q: It’s my first time getting a massage. Is there anything I should know?
A: If you are receiving a massage or facial for the first time at our spa, we will ask you to fill out a short medical questionnaire. Then, you will be escorted to your treatment room. Relax completely. All of our massage and skincare therapists, as well as our nail technicians, have been hand picked to guarantee you the best treatments possible. So let them do all the work. Remove clothing only if you’re comfortable; you can keep on whatever you like. We also offer toweling wrap to wear for facials. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do.
Q: Does the therapist stay in the room for the whole session?
A: Yes. She or he will be with you throughout the session. Please let yourself relax and don’t feel as if you must converse with your massage therapist. However, if needed, feel free to let your therapist know if they should use more or less pressure. Also, remind them of any problem areas if you feel they need extra attention. Remember, this time is for you.
Q: It’s my first time getting a facial. Is there anything I should know?
A: We recommend consulting with your esthetician before you begin your treatment, to discuss your options, new offerings, and what might best benefit your skin type. Please let her know if you prefer more massage, if you want more extractions, or if you really crave a combination. Your esthetician will also make you aware of any extra charges associated with additional services that you might request. Our Service Menu is always available for your price checks.
Q: Can I put make-up on after a facial?
A: Make-up shouldn’t cause any post-facial clogging, unless you’ve had a peel treatment or laser procedure. You should try to keep you skin clean at least for a couple of hours. Otherwise, make-up as you wish.
Q: Does the esthetician stay in the room for the whole treatment?
A: No. Your esthetician may leave your treatment room for a few moments (once or twice during your facial or body treatment) either to mix up a mask or to let you relax. If you get claustrophobic or nervous when nobody’s around just let her know, and she will adjust to your needs.
General Policy
Reservations, cancellation, and rescheduling:
We recommend that you make reservations well in advance to ensure availability. A deposit of 20% or a valid credit card number is required for reservations regarding spa services (i.e., body massages, facials, etc.). Cancellations or rescheduling require 24-hour notice. Parties of 4 or more require 72-hour notice. (*Wedding, bridal parties, baby showers, birthday parties and fundraisers are welcomed.)
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late for your service, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. If other appointments are scheduled immediately after yours, your service will be shortened and you will remain responsible for the full service price.
Payment & tipping:
We accept all major credit and debit cards, but we do not accept personal checks. Tipping is customary and typically 15-20% of each treatment’s regular undiscounted price. However, the gratuity you leave is entirely based on your satisfaction.
Gift cards:
Gift cards can be purchased at the front desk, and they are valid for one year from date of purchase. Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash. Gift cards may be redeemed over multiple visits. Any unused portion of a gift card is forfeited after the expiration date. Lost or missing gift cards will not be replaced.
Series of treatments:
We are unable to reimburse any payment transactions on our spa series of treatment that was purchased. We will exchange them for you for other products or spa credit of equal value.
Spa etiquette:
We have a lounge where you can relax and chat with your friends. However, please turn off all cell-phones or electronic devices when entering spa service area. Other treatments may be in progress, so in respect to others please keep voice levels to a minimum. Lockers are provided for your convenience. Your clothing and personal items will remain with you in the room during your single treatment, unless you are having multiple treatments. In that case you may ask your therapist or aesthetician to move them for you. However, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen belongings. We suggest you arrange for your valuables prior to your visit with us.
An important reminder:
Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, pregnancy or medications you are taking, or any notable changes since your last treatment that we should be aware of.
